About Exam

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) conducts Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) to offer admission to candidates in BSc Agriculture, Forestry, B.V.Sc. & A.H., Homeopathic, Ayurvedic degree programmes offered in the state of Jharkhand.

JCECE is a state level examination which candidates need to give if they want to secure admissions into different colleges in the state of Jharkhand for studying engineering courses.

Candidates are offered admissions into various colleges in Jharkhand on the basis of their rank in JCECE.

JCECE 2019 Exam dates are yet to be released. However, candidates can check JCECE 2018 Important dates for reference purpose.

Note: JCECE Exam is likely to go online. If not in this academic session then most probably the exam will be conducted online in the next academic session.

Eligibility

Candidates have to fulfill multiple eligibility criteria in order to appear for JCECE 2019. Candidates who does not fulfill any of the below mentioned JCECE eligibility criteria will be disqualified for admissions during counselling. The eligibility criteria for JCECE 2019 is as follows:

Criteria I – Educational Qualification

Candidates are eligible to apply for JCECE 2019 if they:
 Have cleared their Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
 Have studied Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subject as well as Chemistry or Biology as optional subjects.
 Have secured minimum aggregate of 45% in their qualifying exam if they are from general category. However, reserved category candidates have to secure a minimum aggregate of 40%.

Criteria II – Age Limit

There is no maximum age limit for candidates who want to appear for JCECE.

Criteria III - Reservation

Name of the course

Extent of Physical Disability for consideration

B.H.M.S.

Disability between 50% to 70% i.e. Locomotory disability of lower limbs. If seats are remaining vacant, the Applicant with Locomotory disability between 40% to 50%

B.V. Sc. & A.H.

Minimum 40% Visually handicapped

B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture

Minimum 40% Visually handicapped or hearing disability

B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry

Minimum 40% Visually handicapped
