A Bank PO (Probationary Officer) is an assistant manager of Scale I in the bank and also known as Scale I Officer. This managerial level job post is secured by clearing the online exam through various public-sector banks across India. The Bank Probationary officer has to go through the training program, once the selection process is finished. The probation period of PO is 2 years that may differ from bank to bank. The banks look for fresh graduates who have great enthusiasm to learn and work hard.

Eligibility

There are some eligibility criteria for Bank PO (IBPS & SBI) that you must take care of before applying. To apply the post, a candidate must ensure whether he/she is 20-30 years old. There is an age relaxation of 5 years to those candidates who belong to SC and ST. The OBC category has 3 years relaxation. Moreover, you should have the minimum educational qualification that you are graduated from the recognized university to apply for IBPS PO and SBI PO.
